Panda bears not so different from men?

After watching a most educational BBC video on the Panda bear, I have come to the conclusion that the male Panda bear is not so different than our gender-opposite counterparts.

Panda Bear vs. Men

1. Leaves urine on trees as way of communicating with other Pandas./Leaves urine on toilet seat as way of communicating their refusal to pee sitting down.

2. Checks on sexual state of females through odors left on trees./Checks on sexual state of females through Facebook.

3. Treads feet in ground as way of instilling his scent which signals sex, age, and sexual condition./Treads car wheels in ground as way of signaling sex, age, and sexual condition.

4. Has non-confrontational style of combat./Also applies here.

5. Rarely travels more than 10 km for food and mating./Also applies here.

6. Male that pees highest wins in dominance./Also applies here.

Have more fun with children bamboo games!

There are many entertaining games for children that are made from bamboo. For example, Kombolino is a version of the popular Sudoku game. Children attempt to create a pattern that has one shape in each column and row which includes two bamboo play mats and 32 tiles in 4 colors and shapes.

Another example is Bamboo Pallina which gives the chance for families to play with their kids by pulling out their color-coded without letting the balls fall through the nest of sticks.
Kids enjoy and love these types of games! Remember when toys were this simply, yet so fun? Can you remember your first childhood toy?

We usually invest a lot in the beauty and appearance of our home, especially when it comes to our bedroom in order to get that pleasant night of sleep and recovery. Bamboo, an ancient commodity or modern-day luxury?

As you may have noticed, bamboo has become more and more common in the household within the past decade or so due to its affordability, subtle elegance, and eco-friendliness. According to a survey done at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Canada, of a sample of 50 students – when mentioning the word bamboo before its entrance into the Western world, the words that immediately came to mind were: Asia, panda bears, tropical, wildlife, and huts. Now, when the same question was asked however in regards to their thoughts on bamboo in our present society, the words that immediately came to mind were: zen culture, decoration, curtains, and sturdiness. Some didn’t even know it was used in Western society at all and most answered the first question with more ease.
This study shows that bamboo is still young in our society and has much evolving to do in terms of the way it’s portrayed. What do you think of when you hear the word bamboo in the past/present? Making its way all the way from East Asia and other tropical regions of the world to your home, what was your first encounter with a bamboo product?

Bamboo Bed sheets are where it's at!

When you lay your head down at night, you hope for sweet dreams. But have you considered what kinds of materials you are resting your head upon? For example, have you thought about the materials used to make your pillow cases, sheets, and covers?

Think about updating your bedding with the eco-friendly product market as your source for new ideas. Eco-minded consumers, after all, find many reasons to buy natural items for their homes.

Bamboo Beds sheets are made with 100% rayon of bamboo fabric which is such a porous yarn, it has the ability, to absorb dye faster giving us greater depth of color as well as more vibrant colors, while using fewer chemicals. Bamboo is heavier than cotton and it drapes better than any fabrics we know of. It is buttery soft like cashmere, with a beautiful luster. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable of all natural fibers.

W
hen bamboo is harvested none of the plant roots are disturbed. Bamboo is cut like grass and it regenerates itself extremely fast.
